Good food good mood: The Legend of a Lazy Lady Who finally cook part 3

Watching too much Korean Variety Shows makes me craving for lots of Korean dishes. I'm a big fan of a Korean variety show called Family Outing (패밀리가 떴다; literally translation Family's Here).  Just like the name, the show is about an outing in the countryside. They helped the locals, played games and, of course, cooking dinner and breakfast. Have you feel sudden hunger when you see someone eats? I feel that every time I watch the show. For this post, I will post the Korean Food I tried to make after watching the show.

Hoddeok or 'Korean Misro' ^^
Tofu jjeon
I have sweet tooth, means I'm craving for something sweets all the time. What really annoys me is when the craving comes at night time. Or even worse, in the middle of the night. And one of my worst case scenarios happened not long ago. Last week (or is it two weeks ago?), I watched one of the episode of Family outing (I think the guest was Kim Jong Kook?). It was winter time and Yoo Jaesuk really wanted to eat something sweet. So, Lee Hyori made Hoddeok. It's a variety filled Korean pancake, but they normally use brown sugar. I immediately googled and found a recipe from Maangchi, as my friend, Aiko, always recommend for my Korean recipes' needs ^^ I thought Hoddeok would be like another pancake I use to make, but to my surprise, it is not. The ingredients are basically the same, more or less. But, one of the ingredients is yeast and it needs approximately an hour and a half to let the dough rise T_T I decided to sleep it on and plan to make it another day. That night I ended up dreaming of eating brown sugar T_T I love the sweet taste from the brown sugar better than the white sugar. In my area, there's a traditional food called 'Misro' literally translated 'sweet inside' and it taste just like Hoddeok. Even my mom said so :p

The next food I made was a side dish-called Tofu jjeon. Well, you know tofu and Jjeon is korean Tofu jjeon is literally translated as 'tofu pancake'. I got the recipe from my friend's blog. I was cooking dinner for my brother and what I got left in the fridge is just one square tofu. One. My brother's appetite is just too wild to be served one tofu. He's an eating monster. It won't be enough. I once read tofu jjeon on her blog. It's very easy you don't need to look at the recipe to make it. You just need tofu, egg and flour. They are the basic ingredients. If you wanna add onions, garlics, scallion, etc, you are more than allowed ^^ from one tofu, I could make ten pieces of tofu jjeon ^^

Soondooboo jjigae
On my previous blog I posted about Soybean stew or Doenjang jjigae. This time I'll post about Tofu stew or Soondooboo jjigae. The ingredients and cooking process are the same. The difference would be on the broth. When Doenjang jjigae uses rice starch (or some people use beef broth instead), Soondooboo jjigae uses seafood broth. The recipe I found on Maangchi used mixed seafood and beef. But, I don't eat meat and I didn't have seafood stock at that time, so I just put Tofu (or Soondooboo), mixed vegetables and egg. Voila. You can enjoy your hot Tofu stew in this cold wheather. You can fin the recipe here

Happy cooking and happy eating, guys. Until next time ^^

Good food good mood: The Legend of a Lazy Lady Who finally cook part 2

It's been two months since I posted my blog about the foods I cooked for the first time. In those couple of months, I've made several dishes. Some were sweet and some were savory. Some were western and some were Asian (well, Korean to be exact). But don't you worry, I won't post all of them today, just some of them (although I probably will add the rest of the foods into the second post sometime this week ^^)

I love chocolate. I always love chocolate. That's why, the cakes/cookies I made, were almost always chocolate. For these past two months I've baked many chocolate snacks. Some were my first times and some were my regular kind of cakes. There were three cakes I made for the first time.

Molten Lava Cake
The first cake I made was Molten Lava Cake. It similar to the ordinary brownies, but when you dig into the cake, you could find some liquid filling inside, like lava. Hence, the name. When you bake a cake, you usually put a wooden skewer into the cake to check whether it's done or not. When your wooden skewer is still sticky with the batter, your cake hasn't done yet and you need to bake it a little longer. With the Molten Lava Cake, it's the opposite. You need the inside of the cake to be still 'liquidy'. For the recipe, I, again, saw it from my friend's blog, Aiko. What I love about her food blog is, she always put simple recipes. They just right for my lazy being. Thank you, Aiko XD Molten Lava Cakes are usually baked in a heat resistant dish, but Aiko also mentioned that you could baked it in muffin papers. So yeah, I did it kkkkkk.... You can find the Molten Lava Cake's recipe here

Chocolate Muffin
The second cake was Chocolate Muffin. It was all started when in one Sunday night, I re-watched my all-time-favourite TV series, FRIENDS (all of you who lived in my era must be familiar and be in love with the series too). Those who know the series must be know that those six New Yorker love to hang out in a coffee place called Central Perk and tease Gunther. And you also know that the Central Perk's counter always have muffin's display. If you didn't know, now you know. If you have no idea what I was talking about, it's time for you to start watching the series. It's a good one. I promise you. Anyway... had watched the show again made me craving for some muffins. Since it was Sunday, going out was definitely not an option. I started to google and finally found the recipe that I like. It was from a food-blog called Hesti's Kitchen. There were lots of chocolate muffin's recipes out there, but her post has these mouthwatering pictures of the muffin. I. Just. Couldn't. Help. Myself XD She got the recipe from Dan Lepard from Guardian.co.uk but she put some adjustments to recipe. You can find her recipe here. Meanwhile, I also put some adjustments to the recipe. I discarded the sunflower oil, chocolate chips and vanilla powder because I ran out of those ingredients. Plus, I changed the brown sugar into the ordinary white sugar.

Chocolate Chips Chocolate Walnut Cookies ^^
On one Thursday night, I, unintentionally, watched a re- run episode of Top chef: Desserts only. One of the contestants made chocolate chips and they looked very much mouthwatering. So, I decided that I'd made it during the weekend. But the thought of those mouthwatering cookies weren't leaving my memories, that on the next day, I've decided to buy Good Times at the nearest mini mart. But, I still wanted to make my own chocolate chips. Later that day, I got home a bit earlier than usually. So, I just decided, Let's do some baking!!!! So, FYI, this was not my first time making chocolate chips. I used to help my mom. But, this was my first time that I made it from the very scratch. Without any help from my mom or anyone else. I got  the recipe from my mom's cooking book. It wasn't really chocolate chips because it has no chocolate chips (Sadly, I ran out of chocolate chips) (I added some white chocolate and cheese on top of it, though) but I replaced it with walnuts (just because I have bunch of it). I named it Chocolate Walnuts Cookies ^^

Doenjang jjigae
(I took the pic when I was almost finish eating ^^)

The third dishes I'm going to post this time is a Korean stew (찌개 = jjigae). There are a lot of kinds of jjigae, because Korean really love eating jjigae.  The kind that I made this time was Doenjang jjigae (Korean soybean paste stew). Just like the name, the soybean or doenjang is the main star of the day. I came across to this dishes when I was watching an episode of a travel/cooking show at National Geographic Channel (I seriously forget the name of the show). On the show, a chef traveled to South Korea to try the original Korean dishes and at the end of the show he needed to recreate his own version of the dishes he tried and served the food to food critics. In one segment, he tried Doenjang jjigae and he suddenly lost his words because he thought the jjigae was really, really, REALLY delicious. You see, I watched the show when it was pouring rain outside. Seeing hot steam came out from the clay pot just made me say 'Let's make some Doenjang jjigae. Tomorrow.' kkkkk because I needed to but the doenjang first . So, on the next day, I really made the jjigae. And it was good. The weather was cold lately and having a bowl of hot stew was just what you need ^^ I made the dishes based on a recipe I found on a blog called beyondkimchee.com here . I made several adjustments to fit my palette because I was not familiar with the taste. Just several seasoning. Nothing major. The rest was still the same.

Wow, such a long post I made today. Anyhow,  those foods aren't all yet. I'm gonna post the rest of the food I tried to cook in the past few weeks. When you eat good food, your mood will be better ^^

Fashion Inspiration: Angela Montenegro from BONES

Last weekend, I just finished  watching the re-run of Bones season 8. While watching the series, something kinda hit me. Angela dresses really well and has distinctive style. Or in a simpler words, Her style really meets my liking :)

Angela Montenegro is a fictional character in an American TV Series, Bones, portrayed by the beautiful Michaela Conlin. I've been watching the series since season 1 but I paid a closer attention towards Anggie's style, just recently. She often wear a thigh-length (or sometimes knee-length) dress with simple cut (mostly sleeveless) and pattern. And she combines it with black legging and flats or boots. Even when she wears a two-pieces wardrobe, they mostly are blouse and a high waist mini skirt.

Angela is an art-graduate whose father is a rock musician. Eccentric runs in her blood. When Angela is channeling her inner rock star, she'd wear a leather jacket over her dress. I must say, the way she dress, gives me a combination of feminine-simple-retro vibe. Maybe I should buy more dress and start to dress inspired by her. No mini skirt and legging, of course. lol

Good food good mood : The legend of a lazy lady who finally cook part 1

Dark Choco Brownies
I love brownies. A lot. Like REALLLLYYY love it. I could eat a 20x20 size of brownies by myself. The secret of a delicious brownies are the combination of cooking chocolate and chocolate powder. The darker, the better. Last week, I suddenly craved for brownies, and I immediately check the ingredients supply. Everything I need is there, except one thing. The cooking chocolate. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Drah-mah....

My craving was too strong that I need to have brownies, but I was too lazy to go to supermarket to buy the cooking chocolate. Hmmm what to do? Thank you God for a technology called internet. I remember my friend, Aiko, who loves to cook has her own cooking blog food-experimentalist.blogspot.com , oh she's good, and I remember I once read her post about brownies recipe that doesn't require any cooking chocolate. I tried to make it based on recipe and it was pretty easy. The taste was not bad either. Although I prefer the one with cooking chocolate, but in case like I had, it is very handy. Here is the recipe if you want to try to make it. You can add some chocolate ice cream on it, like I did. Yummy :)

Rice Noodles with Shrimps
The second food I tried to cook last week was related with noodles. You know when sometimes you don't feel like eating rice, but you have too eat carbo to keep your tummy full and something light like potatoes just won't do? I was in that kind of state last week. Earlier that day I went to a supermarket to buy some shrimps and squids to be made into Tom Yam soup, the famous soup from Thailand. Unfortunately, the squids were out today. So, change of plan, I'd made Shrimp soup with some lemon. The ingredients are simple. You just need garlic, chilli, shrimps (of course) and lemon juice to add some sour taste into it. As I cooked the dish, I started to think, soup won't make me full. I need some carbo but I don't want to eat rice. I started rummaging into my supply cupboard and I found a package of rice noodles. I soaked the rice noodle inside a hot water for several minutes. Drain the water. Put some rice noodles into a bowl and pour some soup on top of it. Voila. It tasted good and very refreshing because of the lemon juice.
Aglio e Olio

As the week passed by, I still don't feel like eating rice. And I've been eating my fave instant noodle*cough* Indomie *cough* and ramen *cough* for two days. I'm not a healthy person but I know it wasn't healthy. Especially when you added some rice into it (I'm an Indonesian. What do you expect? kkkk). So, one day, I watched a re-run episode of 'Junior's Master Chef' and they were cooking pasta. Trust me, those kids really can cook *0* They made really mouthwatering pasta dishes and I was like, okay, let's have pasta for dinner. I have some spaghetti and the instant bolognese sauce. But the Bolognese sauce is kinda sour, while I crave for something savory. Then I remember that I've eaten that kind of pasta, I just didn't know the name. So, after spending some times with uncle Google, I finally came into this site called 'reseppasta.com' and the dishes I've been looking for is called 'Aglio e Olio' which mean garlic and oil. And yes, ladies and gentlemen, the ingredients are literally only garlic and oil. The recipe I found on the site was actually added some anchovies, chilli powder, pepper and peterselli. You can find the original recipe here . I made several changes with it. I didn't add anchovy (I don't like anchovies and I don't have any anchovy) and instead of peterselli, I added some celery instead. Oh, and added some onions too :)

The three dishes I tried to cook above made me realize, cooking is fun. A good cook is a person who's happily cook to make people happy, I'm still on level 'I cook to make myself happy'. That's why I only cook dishes that I wanna eat. But hey... It's just the beginning. Who knows, right. I'll try to cook some food again next week (hopefully) and post it here. Until then.. Ciao!

This Is G Dragon's Coup D'etat

I haven't been able to write anything on Seungri's MV Gotta Talk To You because of many things. Yet, here I am writing a post about GD's Coup D'etat MV when it was only out last night. I guess bias is still bias, huh? In my defense, GD's bitterness in the song and MV are too amusing to be ignored and my hands are itchy to put it on words. He got me on the right spot. But I'm trying to be as objective as I can ^^

According to dictionary, coup d'état is the sudden overthrow of a government by a usually small group of persons in or previously in positions of authority (borrowing from French language; Coup = blow/stroke, de = of, etat = state). So yes, It's about revolution. About breaking the opinion of society. About rebellion.

When YG first announced that GD's latest album will be entitled Coup D'etat, I subconsciously said 'Of course, It's GD'. To be honest, I see GD as a rebellious person and (lately) has dark persona. Among the Idols that are active, I expect the rebelliousness from GD and Jay Park. Those are two Idols that I expect will write a song about something like Coup D'etat. Mostly, idols' songs are about love and or friendship (to be fair, BIGBANG is included). But GD and Jay Park are brave enough to bring out the bitterness in life (or sometimes raciness) and put it into a song. Both are people who were betrayed by society (moreover press) and they put what they feel into song. And  those kind of themes are my cup of tea. Even if GD is releasing a mix tape, he won't openly diss the society bluntly with LOTS of profanities kkkkkkkk

I was quite immersed by the MV that I didn't really pay attention on the song at first. Before the MV was out, I kept questioning on what kind of MV he'd made this time. I've already saw One of A Kind  to Michigo and I've seen quite a lot (if you know what I mean) that's why I've been wondering what kind of MV he's trying to pull this time. After watching the MV, I'm... satisfied. The artworks are indeed different, they are very detailed and representing the lyrics well. It was so symbolic that the viewers start to analyze the meaning behind every scene. When the song is about how GD is bragging about how good he is and people are jealous because of his talent and fame, the MV, on the other, is showing how dark and bitter his life actually is to gain what he's bragging in the song.

These are what I thought about the MV; He's been working under the pressure, the bomb keep ticking while he's doing what he does. The little kid staring at the tomb is little GD who's staring at adult GD's grave. And then there are too many women around him that it actually makes him bleeding or dying or hurt. And then we have GD inside the ticket booth with people lurking outside the booth, which I think there are fans who are overeager to know everything about him even in private life.

Then the scene changed into a kitchen full with pots boiling money and GD is lazily waiting for the money to cook. It shows how GD easily making money that he doesn't need to work hard. But while waiting, GD sometimes turns into some sort monster as his dark alter ego. GD is being arrogant because he makes money too easily it drives him crazy and mean. The scene where GD is being thrown at by rocks and he puts on blindfold is where people keep attacking him whenever they have chance without considering his feeling. Those people are including reporters.

It leads us to the scene where there are dozens of Heartbreaker masks 'crying' their eyeliners out and GD crushed one of the masks. Heartbreaker holds bad memories for him because of the plagiarism scandal where people are pointing finger at him and calling him imposer and also the time when he almost went into jail becauseof the compromising performance during his first solo concert. We've seen similar scene at One of A Kind MV where he destroyed his promotional outfits during the era. We got it, Ji. We got it *hugs*

All those bitterness  make GD suffers of death, but he uses his last strength to do a coup d'etat. Not to the society, not to the industry and definitely not to the government, but a coup d'etat to the old him. He wants to leave all those bad memories behind and starts fresh and he feels calmer inside. But still with the burning energy, ready to fight again.

Then again, those are how I see MV. It's either I want it to be a full-of-meaning-MV or I just watch too much conspiracy movies. Anyhow, I love the whole MV's artworks. And the execution are well done. As expected from Kwon Jiyong, the perfectionist dragon. Oh, when people are thinking about Cruella Deville of 101 Dalmatians when they see his hair color, I see it more like Sweeney Todd of Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. It suits him better kkkk... We'll see what kind of MV that'll be coming from him (I heard he already prepared another one). Can't wait ^^

This is my Coup D'etat

After I Met The One of A Kind Dragon

Due to the hectic real life (and mostly laziness), I haven't been able to post any proper writing on my blog for these past few months. And It's kinda killing me since I have so much things to say in my head. To think about it, I didn't even get to post my experience in watching the one of a kind concert. Errrrr, Where have I been? I know right? I've been smashing my head to the nearest wall lately.

So, like I've already said on my previous previous posts, I've been looking forward to watch G Dragon's solo concert. Well, he's my second bias in BIGBANG after of course my beloved silly-heartwarming personality-always smiling-adorable kid, Kang Daesung (I literally smiling ear to ear while writing that sentence). When YG first announced that GD would be having his world tour solo concert, I hysterically screaming 'COME TO INDONESIA PLEASEEEEE, JEBAAAAALLLL. JIYONGAH YOU PROMISED US LAST TIME!!!' something like that kkkkkk... I personally hope that his concert's concept would be crazy/unique/weird blend because it suits his image and music, especially on his latest album 'One of A Kind'.

After successfully held the BIGBANG Alive Concert in Indonesia last year, it's normal for Big Daddy for being trusted to bring GD's solo concert. Big Daddy seems to have a good relationship with people in YG since they supposed to hold 2NE1's concert last year (which sadly needed to be cancelled because something) too. The ticketing system was better than the last time, they gave seating number (which I think very important for all the non-standing ticket holders).
My tickets and Pia's

The gate was opened around 7pm but we just took our time and enter the building around 7.30pm. Inside the venue, you could hear VIPs screaming over the MV's that showed on the big LED screen near the stage while waving their crown stick (me included). Around 8.20pm, the light was off, the screaming getting louder and the yellow ocean filled the venue. When the curtain covering the stage was lifted up, a bat mobile mad of glass appeared with GD inside. While GD get off from the mobile wearing his signature sunglasses and holding that dragon walking cane, both GD and the band made no sound at all. No music, no greeting. Just the sound of VIPs screaming to the top of their lungs. When the band played the intro of MichiGo,we instantly went crazy. We were jumping even more during Heartbreaker, singing with swag during One of A Kind and rapped like a pro during The Leaders. One of the songs that I anticipated the most during the concert was Light it Up, the broken-heart song coming from the three people who were betrayed by public and poured it into song with mind-blowing words (seems I oversold the song). But, just like what happened during The Leaders where CL were shown at the large LED, Tablo and Dok2 too were shown at the large LED during the song.

GD with his bat mobile. Look at those lightings

After gone for a moment, he came back from the back stage with giant 'butterflies' , they were props for the beautiful and romantic Butterfly stage. Followed by the slow tempo songs such as Missing You, That XX, Without You, and the semi-slow-tempo Today, the atmosphere changed drastically and very proper to allow us to catch our breath after jumping around.  Another song that I've been anticipated to see was A Boy, and it was as AMAZING as I expected. Not because of the lighting or the concept, but simply because the feeling the he delivered during the song. Oh and during That XX, GD sat on a huge throne accessorized with pearls and silvers chains. wearing black beach hat, He sang accompanied only by Justin, acoustic version. I have to be honest, GD looked like a lady that time (but then again, it's GD we're talking about).
Butterfly stage

Suddenly the lights went off again, and TOP appeared from backstage wearing red suits and glasses. He was HOT. Period. No argument at all. GD & TOP sang Knocked Out and High High and of course we did the signature dance of G.H.E.T.T.O E.L.E.C.T.R.O. Aside from those awesome performance from GD & TOP, I have something to brag to VIPs all over the world. We get to see Turn it Up stage!!! It was amazing that we get to see the stage that you rarely see even at the BIGBANG's concerts *grin*.

TOP is HAWT!!!!

GD & TOP

For the next performances, GD sang the songs from his first album such as This Love  and One Year Station. For more 'Rock' feeling, they rearranged Obsession and She's Gone with heavy drum beat and guitar melodies. It's not G Dragon if you don't get to see colorful lasers at the stage. And he definitely didn't disappoint you. Before the concert came to an end, a medley of Crayon and Fantastic Baby were sung by GD & TOP. The medley was first sung at MAMA in Hongkong, and since then they keep singing  the medley whenever they can because it's proven can easily bring the mood up and hyped.

The encore songs for that night were Breathe, Bad Boy  and  MichiGO. During Bad Boy, TOP joined the stage with big smile on his face kept shouting 'Say GD! Say Jakarta! Say VIP! Say Bad Boy' repeatedly. Oh, Bingu ^^ After approximately two hours has passed, GD finally said 'It's time to say goodbye! Thank you for always supporting me. Please don't forget me, Indonesia. I love you!' We love you two fatty dragooonnnnnnn.....

Crayon stage
GD & TOP for Bad Boy

Last Goodbye (not the song^^)

The concert was perfect, it met my expectation. If anything that might be lack was probably the interaction with the fans. But, if you are GD fans, you'd be understanding  because he doesn't talk a lot. Even during BIGBANG's concert, Daesung and Seungri did all the talking.

I love you Kwon Jiyong. Quick comeback with BIGBANG. SOON!!!!

ps: All photos are taken from GD's official Facebook. I don't own the photos

The Classic Chanel

It's been a while since the last time I've seen Coco Chanel collections to be this... simple yet beautiful. For the Resort collection this time, Lagerfield brought back the classics, just what Coco Chanel has always want when she decided to build this mega brand back then in 1910.

At the earlier years, the collections were simple. Just like what Coco Chanel always say 'The less is more'. That's what I love about her. Yet, the last few years' collection were more like 'The more is more'. They lost the original intention. But seeing the latest collections made me thinking 'Yes... the real Chanel is finally back!'

If you see those clothes, they are gorgeous. The simple cut, the elegant feelings and (this is my favourite) the pearls are back. They will never get old. They are timeless. The classic Chanel, don't we all love it? Thank you Mr. Lagerfield. The collections are très belle.

Be curious, not judgmental

 "Don't be so judgmental"

I used  to say that A LOT. I don't like when people start to judge me like they know me or know my history. Hell, I hate it. It's not like I reveal myself to everyone, yet they claim to 'know me'. Oh please, I don't even know myself. Yeah... I used to think that way. It goes the same when a friend of mine start to judge another friend of mine 'why are you being s judgmental', I always say. I even said that a lot on my twitter. Little I know, that ALL OF US are judgmental, aren't we?

The thought came from when I had this conversation with a friend of mine. Both of us are sarcastic, I admit it and yes, sarcastic people speak without even thinking whether it'll hurts others or not. We just say it. Long story shorts, we discussed about how people love to judge, when  my friend suddenly blurted 'So, we become those judgmental bitches too, don't we?' and then it hit me. All of us, consciously or not, are judgmental people.

Have you ever thought that calling people judgmental is actually making you as a judgmental person? If you say yes, congratulation, you have better knowledge than I am (not it's something you should be proud of actually) because I just realized it recently (where the hell I've been?)

Every story has two, or more, of perspective. What you may thought might be different what I may thought, it doesn't mean that you're wrong. It just means that we have different perspective.

In my opinion, there's a slight different between judgmental and accusing, aside from Webster's. Judging is when you're taking a mental note on how you think of a person and you stick to the thought, while accusing is when you're actually saying it to the person, and that person can say whether it's true or not. Needless to say, Judging is worse than accusing.

It makes me... a bad person /le sigh\

You might get mad at me and say 'Bitch, I'm not like you, I never judge people', just so you know, you JUST DID.

Counting down to Eru Concert in Jakarta

Eru pasti cinta mati sama Indonesia.

Semakin saya mencari tahu, saya semakin sadar, suara Eru memang bagus. Suaranya punya efek yang menenangkan. Tidaklah heran kalau dia dijuluki 'Prince of Ballad'.

Memang, hanya Shorry J yang datang ke Indonesia kali ini, mungkin karena Sangchu sedang menjalani wajib milter, but Mighty Mouth is still Mighty Mouth, and seeing the real Shorry in front of my eyes, it would feel surreal, wouldn't it?

Yes, Sir... G-Dragon is indeed One of a Kind

Last year, I just couldn't believe my own ears and eyes hearing the news that BIGBANG will finally hold a concert in Indonesia. Like, the actual concert. Not any part of Korean Wave festival or anything, but the real full length concert. I was ecstatic. Beyond ecstatic. I thought I just lost my mind (just? what do you mean you JUST lost your mind? kkkk). After the two days of amazing, wonderful, mega beautiful experiences, my heart refused to accept the fact that those two days were already become memories. I was having hard time to move on.Hard time.

But theeeennn, approximately a month ago, I started to experience the same feeling again when YG, that beloved company who keeps taking money from my pocket, announced another shocking newd. Yes, you already know what it is.  Ladies and Gentleman, It's time for us to embrace GDragon One of a Kind World Tour woooohooooooo........

Yes, I've lost my mind. No, I don't even care kkkkkk.... So, following up the release of his first solo mini album 'One of a Kind', GD will be having World Tour until June 2013 (well at least that's what's been confirmed oh his official Facebook page). He already kicked the tour off in Seoul at 30th and 31st March ago. And he will travel around the world (again) to complete his tour schedule. Really, Ji? I know you're not human, but... really, Ji? hehehehe....

It might be said 'World Tour', But so far, It's still 'Asian Tour,' since the countries confirmed are still parts of Asian (Korea, Japana and southeast asia countries [exl. Phillipines. We still pray for you pinoy VIPS]).

Just like Alive Tour last year, Big Daddy Entertainment is the one who brought GD to Indonesia (let's give Big Daddy a huge virtual hug ^^). GD OOAK World Tour in Jakarta will be held at June 15th (starting at 8pm) and 16th (starting at 4pm) 2013 at Mata Elang International Stadium (MEIS), Ancol, Jakarta. I like the venue. Been there for three times, concert-watching-wise and, yeah, it's okay (considering there's still no better and bigger places than that one at the moment ^^)

The ticket prices are, quite reasonable. For GD's concert, there are only 4 sections : Yellow, Festival, Blue and Red. The range price are between IDR 550,000 - IDR 2,000,000, depends on the section. Red: IDR 550,000; Blue: IDR 850,000; Festival: IDR 1,450,000 and Yellow: IDR 2,000,000. The seating plan as attached below:

There are two changes happened on Big Daddy's ticketing this time. First, Festival section, which previously was divided into 4 section, now has only two sections. Festival A and Festival B. And instead of naming others section into; Tribune 1, Tribune 2 and VIP, Big Daddy decided to only name them as; Red, Blue and Yellow. Second, and this my favourite change, learning from their past experience, the seating section now has seated number. Yaaaaayyyyy... so, the Red, Blue and yellow ticket holders won't be worry their seat would be taken by others (yes, it seriously happened to me last time). I, personally, love this kind of system very very much. A lot. Big applause for Big Daddy ^^

The tickets are already being sold as per today (130407) for online purchase only. But starting tomorrow, the selling will be both online and offline. You can visit myticket.com or tiket.com web page for the online purchase. Please be noticed that myticket.com only take credit card for the online purchase. If you don't have any credit card, you can go directly to their ticket offices here. But if you don't feel like go anywhere and just wanna do online purchase but all you have is your atm card or bank token, you can visit visit tiket.com web. They accept those kinds of payment.

For you who already got the ticket for #GDfirstworldtour , congratulations and see you at the venue. And for those who haven't, grab it fast ^^

Oh... Yes, Sir. He's one of a kind and he got me cray....

I Got A Boy??? Really???

SNSD's I Got A Boy... first time I watched the MV, my reaction was like 'Girls... you're trying too hard'. Don't get me wrong, I liked SNSD's music. They were cute. Easy listening. The choreography were easy to be followed. I liked their music. Up until 'Hoot'. Sorry.. but 'Hoot' was like the lowest point of their career. They seemed to be trying hard to change their image that they don't even sure what they are trying to do.

And they made it worse by releasing 'The Boys'. Again... I need to apologize to SONEs out there, but the MV made them like a newly debuted girl group. It looked cheap (the MV, not the girls). The song was really ear-catching but the first impression that I got from watching the MV just can't be ignored.

And now 'I Got A Boy'.... It's like the follow up song from 'The Boys'. After they 'brought the boys out', now they 'got a boy' kkkkkk.... The song itself is... how do I say it? WEIRD? I think that's the best description I can come up with. It has mixed sounds. It's like they put several genres into one song. I've heard this kind of song once, or twice, or maybe more, so I dig the experiment. The problem is.... IGAB's composer didn't try to mix the sounds smoothly. There's really no bridging between one genre to another genre. It resulted as... a medley song. Too bad.

As for their styles, again, 'Girls... you're trying too hard' I waas like 'f(x)now has 9 members????' (and to add the confusion, Yoona really looks like Krystal). Their style concept used to be classy, elegant, girly and stuffs like that. And now they're aiming to be cool, street-wear style and boyish. Just like f(x)'s concept. Lee Soo Man sajangnim... what are you trying to do? To sum it all, I love the style, but I don't like that style ON them. They can't pull it well. But Sooyoung and Hyoyeon are really gorgeous on the MV. Geez....

Girls... Naaaahh... that's not how you do it

Note to myself

So this is New year huh? another year has passed, another dreams need to be created. Another resolutions need to be achieved. To be better. That's all what we want.

We've been through a lot. Smile, tears, happiness, sadness, disappointment. A lot. We might wanna learn from our past but don't let it get a hold of you.

So, First day of 2013.... how does it feel? Nothing changes? ahahahaha.. maybe not yet. 2012 had been a wonderful year to me. Can't mention it one by one, but I feel so much blessings for the past 2012. Although I missed one of many goals of my life, yet I can't ignore whatever been given to me.

So 2012... I've got not only one, not two, but five new nephews and nieces. And yes, the one-million-dollar question is still around every time one new nephew or niece is added to the list, but I've already knew how to handle it. So, I'm good kkkkk...

I didn't really travel anywhere this year, unlike on 2011, but hell, I've already made list of which countries I'm going to visit in 2013. And believe you me, My passport will be full by the end of year 2013 kkkkkkkk (I meant it!!!) ^^

I did some introspection on new year's eve, since I couldn't sleep (no, thank you to some people who decided to play with 'petasan' and 'mercon')and I found some fun (?)facts. At the beginning of 2012, I've made several goals about what I need to achieve by the end of the year. And until yesterday, at the end of 2012, none of my-settled-goals were achieved, yet I achieved other goals that I didn't even set on. Hmmmm... this is interesting. Oh well.... blessings are blessings. Why complain about it.

So yeah...no matter what you've been through in the past year, be thankful for it. If it's good, embrace the joy and the good memories. It it's bad, embrace the pain, learn from the mistake, face it with smile, and move on.

This has been a note to myself, but if you're inspired by it, I gotta ask... REALLY??? hehehehe.....

Goodbye 2012, It's been a great journey.

Hello 2013, let's HAVE FUN!!!!!!
